Located inside the Addis Ababa University complex, we will visit the Ethnographic Museum to continue our tour of Addis Ababa.

This museum showcases an extensive collection of commonplace objects and artifacts associated with most of Ethiopia’s ethnic groups, despite being very distinct from the National Museum. Just as fascinating are the displays.

The National Museum of Ethiopians most known for being the location of Lucy’s partial remains, an Australopithecus thought to have existed approximately 3.2 million years ago and is the ancestor of modern humans.

A cast of the delicate bones is on display, though it’s not the original.

Itegue Taitu Hotel

Lunch at The Taitu Hotel, Ethiopia’s Oldest Hotel. It was established in 1898 E.C., this establishment provides a variety of services.

You can order from the menu as well as the well-known vegan buffet.

Market Place

The tour of Addis Ababa’s city continues after lunch with a visit to Merkato,
